Winter & Summer Lanterns

I have always liked lanterns, particularly in winter and often wondered what I could create inside them. Living in Switzerland at the time, I decided to create winter sceneries with little Swiss chalets made with matches, forest animals, snow and skiers. With lights in the chalets and on the Christmas tree, they create a lovely atmosphere in the evening. The summer scenes are alpine pastures with cows and a small shed or chalet.
