Clockwise, from the top left:

P123.14, oil on canvas, 34x45cm. The lady painting in the forest was hanging over our fireplace for years and was still there following a house fire but the frame was burnt and the canvas turned to powder when touched. Fortunately we found a photo of the painting which I used to paint the new one which has hung in our lounge since.

P122.13 Sheep and shepherd as sunset, oil on canvas, 50x40cm. The original is some 200x160cm. It is still in the family but as it was too big for our lounge at the time, I painted the new one which has hung on our wall since.

P222.19, Also burnt in our house fire was a painting of sheep by the Italian painter Luigi XXXX. We searched unsuccessfully for a photo of that painting but found on the Internet one of a shepherdess, which I did my best to copy for our lounge. Before hanging it, I included it in an exhibition and a fellow painter insisted on buying it. The above is a second copy – oil on canvas, 34×45

P97.11 watercolour 43x30cm. Of all the pictures I have painted, this is my favourite. The original was painted by Beni Gassenbauer, one of my favourite painters.

P124.14 Oil on paper 45×33. The original was a very old painting which had suffered from exposure to too much bright light and was impossibly blue. I took a photo of it and with a bit of imagination, produced the above.
